In 2005, John started his own law firm after 25 years in various corporate legal positions.  The experience gained over those years as a corporate counsel, AVP of Marketing and an estate/business planning consultant are put to work for you.

 

John attended law school at Ohio Northern University, Ada, Ohio.  He was admitted to practice law in 1978 in the State of Ohio.  In addition to his legal experience, he gained practical accounting experience with former Big 8 CPA firm Peat, Marwick, Mitchell.  He received his Accounting & History B. A. degrees from St. Joseph's College, in Rensselaer, Indiana.

 

Over the course of his career, John has authored numerous estate, business and tax planning articles for national and corporate publications.  He has spoken at industry conventions and continuing education seminars. 

 

In addition to his law practice, John owns and manages a boutique investment and income planning firm, Red Oak Asset Management, Inc. He is an investment advisor representative, and holds a Series 7 and Series 65 license for Ohio, Florida and Kentucky.  The planning firm focuses on developing multiple income sources ( tax free and tax advantaged) for your retirement and long term needs.

And I have a disaster plan - in case I can no longer practice law because of death or incompetence, I have arranged for one of these partners to step in to assist my clients.  I have worked joint case with this person, and he is familiar with my work processes.
